Edwin B. Janes was an autograph and manuscript collector of Cleveland, Ohio. Albert Gallatin Riddle (1816- 1902), lawyer, Republican legislator, and author. He served as member of the Ohio House of Representatives (1848-1850) and then as the state representative in the Thirty-seventh Congress. In 1863-1864, he was consul at Matanzas, Cuba.
